I am looking through the papers in Lauren's backpack today. I pull out one interesting drawing and ask her to tell me about it. "Well mom," she says, "the art teacher told us to draw huge jar and then draw something in the jar that normally wouldn't fit into a jar. Everyone at my table drew a picture of their house. I drew four monkeys on a trampoline. Because four monkeys on a trampoline would definitely NOT fit into a jar." Indeed not.

Oh do I ever miss this kind of logic!! Just perfect!!!
How clever of your daughter not to follow all the others at her table. Good for her, like her logic to.
It's obvious she's brilliant!
Good for her! Monkeys on a trampoline is waaaay more imaginative than a house!
